Plano residents will no longer be able to park on most of 13th/14th Connector, a side road between US 75 and G Avenue that turns into 14th Street.

Plano City Council approved an ordinance establishing a no-parking zone along the north and south sides of the road during its Jan. 23 meeting. Since the road is only one lane on either side, 13th/14th Connector cannot accommodate on-street parking, according to the agenda item.

The item also states that safety improvements are needed on 13th/14th Connector to improve sight distance along the curve near Patriot Park Apartments.
