Community Impact, founded in 2005 by John and Jennifer Garrett, serves as both an informative resource for residents and a guiding light in the journalism industry. As of today, the Garretts, who maintain private ownership of the company, have overseen its growth to encompass more than 190 Impacters operating in over 40 markets across Texas. Headquartered in Pflugerville, Texas, near Austin, with offices in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, CI offers career opportunities spanning corporate support roles, design, development, digital, editorial, management and sales.
