Irene joined Community Impact in June 2023 as part of the Scripps Howard Foundation Emerging Journalists Program. She will graduate from Bellaire High School in May 2024 and first started journalism in her sophomore year at her school newspaper. She enjoys dancing, reading and trying new foods.
