Officials with golf apparel brand Bad Birdie will hold a grand opening July 22 to celebrate its first Texas location at Montrose Collective, 888 Westheimer Road, Ste. 152, Houston. The event will run from 3-7 p.m.

At the celebration, there will be activities such as closest-to-the-pin and putting challenges guests can engage in for prizes and giveaways, according to an email to Community Impact. There will also be food and drinks from local small businesses.

The shop officially opened June 30 and offers men’s, women’s and youth clothing, such as polos, dresses, hats and gloves, among others. In the new 1,272-square-foot space, shoppers can enjoy cold beverages, fun playlists, comfortable seating and watch golf on a TV, according to a June 29 news release.

“If there is anything about Houston, the city is full of passionate golfers that want to drive innovation and inclusivity,” Bad Birdie's Director of Growth James Itkoff said in a statement. “We are stoked to bring Bad Birdie to the city, through our community and product.”

Bad Birdie also has two additional locations in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Newport Beach, California. Customers can also find Bad Birdie products in Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom and Golf Galaxy.

The shop’s hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mon.-Thu., 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Fri.-Sat., and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun.
