Travis County officials earmark funding for security of judicial representatives
Travis County Commissioners approved $500,000 in funding for security measures in response to safety issues faced by local judicial figures Oct. 22. This follows an approval of $115,000 by commissioners earlier this year for District Attorney José Garza's home security—an decision under scrutiny by state Attorney General Ken Paxton.
