Elgin-based Frontier Bank will open a new location at 5600 Burnet Road, Austin, in mid-May. This will be the second branch to open in the past 12 months. The space was previously occupied by a BBVA Compass bank.

Frontier also has a location on Lake Austin Boulevard.
