Tired of traditional apartment life? The Oaks on Chisholm Trail is redefining the rental experience in Round Rock. With a plethora of floor plans, convenient amenities and an accessible location, The Oaks on Chisholm Trail offers brand-new homes with the convenience of renting.

Community manager Tarryn Tanksley said The Oaks on Chisholm Trail is the first single-family rental project in Central West Texas for management company Greystar, and is just the beginning.

Located just off I-35, The Oaks on Chisholm Trail offers easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment as well as close proximity to parks and nature trails. For families with children curious about which school district their children would attend, the community is zoned for Round Rock ISD.

"The community is also located a mile from Round Rock Premium outlet mall, H-E-B, IKEA and is walking distance from a variety of restaurants,” Tanksley said. “Additionally, the community is located next to an Amazon hub, so residents can pick packages up there if they prefer."

Freedom from apartment living

Tanksley said The Oaks on Chisholm Trail is different from traditional apartment life because the community offers standalone homes—residents no longer have to worry about their upstairs neighbors’ volume.

"You're in a gated community, in a beautiful neighborhood, surrounded by an abundance of oak trees which are protected by the city of Round Rock,” Tanksley said. “We’re nestled back here in this beautiful preserve, and it’s a win-win.”

The community offers single-family homes with three to four bedrooms and 13 different floor plans and layouts to choose from. Many of the yards also have oak trees, which is something the community developers wanted to preserve.

Accessible amenities

The Oaks on Chisholm Trail also has a number of amenities for residents to enjoy, including:
  • swimming pool
  • dog park
  • gated community
  • private yards
  • two-car attached garage
  • Spruce concierge services
  • washer and dryer in unit
  • Tankless water heaters
"Another perk of living here at The Oaks provides weekly landscaping which has built-in irrigation and pest control services for a small monthly fee,” Tanksley said. We have an online maintenance portal with a 48-hour turnaround time, so our residents don’t have to worry about any day-to-day maintenance needs,” Tanksley said.”

Becoming a resident

Ready to make the move? Prospective residents can schedule a self-guided, virtual or in-person assisted tour to get a better sense of the community and the floor plan they like best. For those who want to meet with someone on-site, the office is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Tanksley said she and her team are happy to show prospective residents around and the in-person tour takes about an hour.

“It's a great transition for somebody who's tired of that traditional apartment community life and wants a little bit more square footage,” Tanksley said. “...We really appeal to everybody.”
