H-E-B celebrates 80 years in Austin on Wednesday with a birthday bash on the H-E-B Terrace at the Long Center for the Performing Arts on Riverside Drive.

H-E-B purchased and opened its first stores in Austin in 1938. Since then, the Texas grocer has expanded to 24 stores locally.
