The private, nonprofit corporation Williamson County Community Coordinated Child Care (WC4C), which opened a child care development center in April, has implemented several new programs, including a gardening project and a partnership with Southwestern University professor Erilee Lam to provide violin lessons to pre-K students. The nonprofit is planning to break ground in January on a new developmentally appropriate playground for infant to pre-K students and is looking for volunteers or donations of materials. WC4C also has a child care subsidy program, offers child care provider training and is looking for donations for its child care subsidy program.
