Klein ISD will host two job fairs in the coming months for prospective employees, district officials announced Jan. 20.
On Feb. 4, KISD officials will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-noon at Klein High School—16715 Stuebner Airline Road, Spring—for special education teachers, bilingual teachers and support staff. Current stipends for the 2022-23 school year are as follows:
- Bilingual stipend: $4,500 for teacher of record for a bilingual class
- Licensed specialist in school psychology: $4,000
- Speech-language pathologist: $4,000 (must have CCC credentials)
- Diagnostician (EAS): $2,000
- Academic lead teacher: $2,000
- Developmental, BASE/BASE+, Making Connections, EC teachers: $1,000
- Therapeutic education program stipend: $2,000 (must be SPED certified)

On March 25, KISD will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-noon at Klein Cain High School—10201 Spring Cypress Road, Spring—for teachers. The 2022-23 starting salary for teachers in KISD is $60,000. To pre-register for the March 25 job fair, click here.
