Water Irrigation System Evaluation
On June 26, 2009, The Woodlands used 38.3 million gallons of water in a single day. The Water Irrigation System Evaluation program was established shortly after from a group of licensed irrigators to get the message out to residents of how to avoid wasting water in The Woodlands. The W.I.S.E. Guys program now services 52 water districts across the state, ranging from large cities to small utility districts. Its technicians have performed more than 4,600 evaluations, including 1,886 in The Woodlands as of March. For more information, visit www.vepollc.com.
