Matt joined Community Impact in December 2012. A Tomball native who has lived throughout the northern Greater Houston area much of his life, Matt is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He started with Community Impact as a reporter for The Woodlands team before being promoted to help launch the Spring | Klein edition in spring 2014. He was promoted to managing editor in 2015 and manages six papers across North Houston as well as the Lake Travis | Westlake edition in Austin. Matt is a movie buff and long-time Houston sports fanatic who enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
