Ciro Coppola purchased The Den at 700 N. LBJ Ste. 113, San Marcos, and revamped the space, gutting it from ceiling to floor. Coppola will open the The Pitch, a rugby-themed bar with craft cocktails, beers and seven televisions, on Aug. 24. The Pitch will hold a grand opening Aug. 26 with live music beginning at 7 p.m. Regular hours will be from 2 p.m.-2 a.m., Mon.-Sat. and 12 p.m.-2 a.m. Sun.
