1. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened Oct. 6 at 27645 Business 249, Tomball, the company announced Oct. 3. Freddy's brings its steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries, and frozen chocolate or vanilla custard. 3. Honor Society Coffee Co. opened Sept. 23 at 105 Houston St., Tomball, co-owner Billy Schiel confirmed to Community Impact. In addition to its food and drink menu, the shop also offers a selection of bagged coffee and other merchandise. 4. The Tomball bakery and cafe Kolache Kafe opened Sept. 24 at 11690 Spring Cypress Road, Tomball, owner Stephen Ewald confirmed to Community Impact. Ewald said business since opening "has been exciting" in an email. 5. Lone Star College-Creekside Center, located at 8747 W. New Harmony Trail, Tomball, opened a children’s library Sept. 12, said Janna Hoglund, director of the LSC-Tomball Community Library.
