Voters in Missouri City and Sugar Land can partake in early voting for the Nov. 5 election from Oct. 21-Nov. 1.

What residents need to know

Residents can cast their votes at one of 32 early voting locations countywide, which are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. from Oct. 21-26 and Oct. 28-Nov. 1, according to Fort Bend County’s website. Some locations are also open on Oct. 27 from noon-6 p.m.



On the ballot


Ballots will feature a plethora of races, ranging from the federal and state races for the U.S. House, Texas House and state senator as well as several county races such as sheriff, Precinct 3 commissioner and Precinct 2 and 3 constables.

Additionally, Missouri City voters will be able to weigh in on local races, including:Meanwhile, Sugar Land voters will decide on the city’s $350 million bond, which includes five propositions for public safety, mobility, drainage, municipal facilities and the animal shelter.

Looking ahead


Election Day is set for Nov. 5 with voting locations open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Registered voters can cast their ballot at any location countywide on Election Day, according to Fort Bend County’s website.
