Community Impact compiled a list of contested races on the ballot. According to the Texas Secretary of State office’s website as well as the cities of Sugar Land and Missouri City, local elected positions and the individuals who filed are as follows:

To participate in the elections, residents must register to vote by Monday, Oct. 7. Early voting will be held Oct. 21-Nov. 1, according to the SOS website. Election Day is Nov. 5.
