Clear Creek ISD’s board of trustees on Aug. 24 will consider the district’s $432 million budget for fiscal year 2026-27, and discuss the district’s tax rate of $0.969 per $100 valuation of a home, which is unchanged from the previous year’s tax rate.

The school district is projecting a $22.8 million shortfall for the FY 2026-27, driven by declines in state and local funding due to decreased enrollment, district officials said.
At an Aug. 17 meeting, staff and the board of trustees discussed covering the gap with the district's $39 million capital contingency fund, according to previous reporting by Community Impact.
