The Forest Oaks Park playground remodel was completed two days early in Spring, according to a
March 6 blog post from
Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110. The playground’s soft opening was
previously scheduled for March 8.
The park renovations included:
- A new drainage system
- A new four-bay swing set
- Two separate play units with activity features designed for 2- to 5-year-olds and 5- to 12-year-olds
- A small stand-alone play-tunnel
On March 23, WCID 110 will be holding an Easter egg hunt and a
grand opening celebration at Forest Oaks Park. The event is free for district residents and their guests, according to the district’s website.
