The Woodlands Development Company has announced the signing of PetroQuest Energy, Inc. to a 13,091-square-foot lease of office space on the second floor of One Hughes Landing, the first office building to be constructed at Hughes Landing.

Construction is already underway on Hughes Landing, a 66-acre mixed-use development, with One Hughes Landing already 35 percent pre-leased and scheduled for completion this September. PetroQuest Energy will begin construction with the opening of One Hughes Landing, with an expected completion date of this November, according to a press release.

"PetroQuest Energy is a welcome addition to One Hughes Landing," said Alex Sutton, co-president of The Woodlands Development Company. "Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands is a desirable area for businesses and urban living, offering panoramic lake views in a pedestrian-friendly setting while encompassing dining, retail and entertainment."

The 8-story One Hughes Landing will occupy 197,000 square feet of Class A office space. It will be the first of as many as eight office buildings at Hughes Landing that will feature upscale restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, a grocery store, a hotel and multifamily residences for about 1,000 people.
