With 98 percent of precincts reporting, incumbent Jack Cagle has earned 64.58 percent of the vote for the Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner seat, compared to Sean Hammerle's 35.4 percent.
According to unofficial results, Cagle received 218,229 votes, while Hammerle received 119,706 votes.
"I am very grateful to the constituents of Precinct 4 for giving me the opportunity to continue to serve them," Cagle said. "When I came in a little more than a year ago as appointed commissioner from Judge Ed Emmett, it was incumbent upon me to prove my mettle. I'm very appreciative of this opportunity to continue to serve."

According to unofficial results, incumbent Jack Cagle remains in the lead for the Harris County Commissioner Precinct 4 seat with 66.18 percent to Hammerle's 33.82 percent with nearly 50 percent of the precincts reporting.

Incumbent Jack Cagle maintains a lead in the race for the Harris County Commissioner Precinct 4 seat with 66.36 percent to Sean Hammerle's 33.64 percent. Cagle has earned 154,421 votes compared to 78,294's.

According to unofficial results, incumbent Jack Cagle is leading the race for the Harris County Commissioner Precinct 4 spot with 66.59 percent to Sean Hammerle's 33.41 percent.
Cagle took office last October after being appointed by County Judge Ed Emmett after the resignation of Jerry Eversole. He previously served as judge of Harris County Civil Court at Law #1.
Hammerle works in public service and has lived in Houston for almost 20 years.
Harris County Precinct 4 covers portions of north and northwest Harris County, along with part of the City of Houston.
