Another H-E-B location could come to the Jordan Ranch community, providing a new shopping destination for Katy and Fulshear residents.

The gist

According to an April 16 project registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction on the new $18 million store is set to begin in October and be completed in late June 2025.

Digging in

The Jordan Ranch master-planned community is located in northern Fulshear, just 5 miles from Katy, and brings 1,350 acres of homes and amenities to the area. The community’s developer, Johnson Development, has nine other master-planned communities in the Greater Houston area, according to its website.


Community Impact reached out to H-E-B officials for more details on the Jordan Ranch store but did not receive a response before press time. This story will be updated when information is received.

What else?

In February, H-E-B opened a store in The Market at Katy Park development, located at 24924 Morton Ranch Road, Community Impact reported.

The San Antonio-based grocery store has over 435 stores in Texas and Mexico, according to its website.
