Katy’s newest H-E-B will open soon in The Market at Katy Park development.

In a nutshell

The 117,000-square-foot store will offer produce, seafood, Sushiya sushi items, its scratch bakery and other traditional offerings, according to an opening announcement on H-E-B’s website. Curbside pickup and delivery will also be available.

Zooming out

The H-E-B location—which is adjacent to the 100-acre Katy Park—is part of the larger The Market at Katy Park project from commercial real estate developer Read King. The 54-acre mixed-use center will feature The Oaks at Katy Park luxury apartments and numerous retail pad sites, Community Impact previously reported.

Sarah Gregory, Read King's vice president of operational services, said in an email the company has secured various tenants for the development, including:

Gregory said company officials anticipate retail spaces to be finished in the second quarter of 2024, with tenants opening in the fourth quarter of 2024.
