The Montgomery County Choral Society has named a new artistic director, according to an April 22 news release.

Jim Kritikos will serve as the nonprofit’s newest artistic director, according to the news release. Before pursuing a career in insurance, Kritikos spent 15 years as a choir director serving at Leander, Comal and Klein ISDs.

Kritikos also serves as the director of worship at Wildwood United Methodist Church in Magnolia, according to the news release.
