Summerwood Trails community to begin construction in Willis

New home community Summerwood Trails has completed its development phase and is ready to begin construction in early 2023, real estate agency MHW Real Estate announced in a Jan. 3 news release.

Summerwood Trails is located on 54.5 acres of land in Willis near Lake Conroe and 4 miles from I-45. Homes are located off of Moon Road and Cude Cemetery Road, according to the release.

As of the release, 206 lots are available for purchase. Prices are listed on the Summerwood Trails' website ranging from $244,900 to $269,900 with floor plans starting at 1,390 square feet.

Stephanne Davenport, COO and principal of MHW Real Estate, said she expects all lots to be sold within the upcoming months. In addition, she said a townhome development on the 7 acres that surround Lake Conroe is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2024.

“We have no indication that there is a slowdown of growth in Montgomery County, and we’ve experienced strong results like this in many of our developments," she said.

MHW Real Estate owns two other properties in Montgomery County including 909 West Lewis and Lake Shore Cove.

Davenport said both properties, located in Conroe, will be sold out by February. She said the company will begin Lake Shore Cove Phase II this spring.
