Encompass Health has recently filed a project registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to build a new facility in Conroe.

The filing was submitted on Sept. 15, per TDLR records.
According to its website, Encompass Health’s standard rehabilitation hospitals cover multiple therapy programs, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.
The total cost is estimated at $16.6 million, and construction is expected to last from Dec. 14, 2026, to Nov. 22, 2027. The facility will be 52,500 square feet and will accommodate 50 inpatients in private patient rooms and provide visitor parking spaces.
