Traci Rodriguez

Vice President of Market Development

Following a career in outside sales, Traci accepted an account executive position with Community Impact Newspaper in November 2006. In early 2007, Traci launched the paper’s third edition in Northwest Austin and was soon promoted to general manager.

In 2010, she moved to the general manager position of the Cedar Park/Leander market and spent more than three years in that community. Traci was an active member of the Cedar Park and Leander chambers of commerce and served on the Leander chamber board. She graduated from the Leander Leadership class and has served on various chamber committees and boards over the years, helping business owners connect with other businesses as well as the community.

In January 2013, Traci accepted the publisher role for CI’s Austin metro area, and in early 2016 she was promoted to group publisher, overseeing all three of CI’s Texas metros. Throughout the years, Traci has enthusiastically helped the company achieve its mission to build communities of informed citizens and loves the opportunity to help businesses thrive. She is passionate about the product and the amazing people she works with around the state. Traci lives in Williamson County and loves time outdoors with her husband, Noe, and children, Evan and Lauren.

Why Traci is always in a good mood …

She’s been blessed with the opportunity to travel throughout the state and hear from readers who love the newspaper because they are informed about their communities as well as business owners who credit the paper for their company’s growth. She considers everyone she works with as family.

Why she loves being out on the water …

Traci grew up salt-water fishing and gets to the coast as much as possible, looking to reel in the “trifecta”: keeper redfish, trout and flounder.

Traci graduated with …

A bachelor’s degree from Texas State University. “Go Bobcats!”
