Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Laytoamb Wiggins has always valued creating lasting relationships throughout his career and is excited to be a part of Community Impact Newspaper. CI’s values and mission resonated with Laytoamb, and after first receiving the print newspaper in the mail when his family moved to Pflugerville in 2014, he appreciated the hyperlocal content as he learned about the city and his surrounding communities.

Prior to joining CI in 2021, Laytoamb supported a local Georgetown manufacturer where he led all aspects of the Human Resource function. Laytoamb also had a long successful career at Nordstrom, spending 22 years at the customer centric retail giant. As a leader in employee and customer experience, Laytoamb led the Nordstrom Rack store in Cedar Park, Texas, where he led all functions within his store, including everything in the employee life cycle. Laytoamb currently holds dual HR certifications for SHRM and HRCI (SHRM-SCP & SPHR).

  1. Laytoamb loves his Cleveland sports team and is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan … Go Bucks!!
  2. Laytoamb can’t carry a tune, but loves to sing and has been dubbed the “Karaoke King” by his friends and associates due to his entertaining performances.
  3. Laytoamb keeps in shape by running, which he enjoys, and has run close to 100 half marathons and completed Disney’s Dopey Challenge.
