Happy Hippie Brewing Company is now open in the Lockwood district of Richardson.

Partenope Ristorante opened a second North Texas location in Richardson.

The restaurant serves several pasta dishes, salads, appetizers and an all-Italian wine list, along with “true Neapolitan pizza,” according to the company’s website.

Four Bullets Brewery in Richardson has had a change in ownership.

Half of the partnership has changed, owner Jeff Douglas said in an email, as his original partner, Drew Smeeton, has sold his half of the brewery.

Douglas, along with his wife, Theresa, will retain his 50% ownership and will now be majority owner. Four Bullets head brewer Doug Steel and his wife, Shelley, along with longtime customers Chris and Milena Manning, and Colin and Anne Nicol purchased the remaining 50% in early August, Douglas said.

Four Bullets Brewery first opened in May 2015 and is Richardson’s first brewery, Douglas said. The brewery offers a variety of craft beers.La Casita Bakeshop


La Casita Bakeshop has expanded its menu options to include brunch in Richardson.

The bakery recently expanded its operating hours to include some weekdays, and now offers a brunch menu featuring French toast, avocado toast, Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, pork belly sandwiches and more.
