Colleyville police officers will host Coffee with a Cop at 8:30 a.m. on March 26 at Market Street, 5605 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville.

Over a cup of coffee, Colleyville residents will have a chance to get to know police officers, discuss community issues and build relationships in an informal setting.

The Colleyville Police Department held the event for the first time in August as a way to strengthen relationships within the community.

Police departments throughout the nation practice Coffee with a Cop and the United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services support the event.
