Thunderville Laser Shop, located at 1526 Crested Butte Drive, Lewisville, has become a go-to destination for custom-engraved products, specializing in personalized gifts and intricate keepsakes.

What makes the shop truly unique is its collaboration with Baskets by Frankie Lynn, a separate business run by Frankie Lynn Moon, that offers custom gift baskets tailored for any occasion.

Together, these two businesses—one focused on laser engraving, the other on thoughtfully curated baskets—provide a complete gifting experience that blends precision craftsmanship with a personal touch.

Two businesses, one vision

The partnership between Thunderville Laser Shop and Baskets by Frankie Lynn wasn't a planned venture but rather a natural evolution of their shared commitment to quality and customization.

Moon, who founded Baskets by Frankie Lynn nearly nine years ago, wanted to create a more personal and unique experience for customers.

"I was putting together basic gift baskets, but I wanted to make them more meaningful and personal," Moon said. "That's when I thought, why not add custom engraving? I reached out to my husband Tony, who’s been in the engraving business for years, and together we decided to bring our skills together to create something truly unique."

This collaboration has grown rapidly, allowing both businesses to serve a wide range of clients—from individuals looking for special gifts to companies in need of corporate presents.

Thunderville Laser Shop

Owner Tony Moon brings his expertise in custom laser engravings, transforming everyday items into keepsakes.

From detailed portraits of family homes to engraved holiday ornaments, Tony Moon’s work allows customers to turn memories into cherished keepsakes.

"I take photographs or logos and turn them into something people can display and keep forever," Tony Moon said. "The goal is to create a piece that not only captures a special moment but also becomes a cherished keepsake. Every item we engrave is crafted with care, ensuring that it’s not just a gift, but something the recipient will treasure for years to come."

Thunderville Laser Shop has invested in advanced technology, ensuring that every engraving is clear, precise and of the highest quality.

Baskets by Frankie Lynn

What sets Baskets by Frankie Lynn apart from other companies is the personalized approach that Moon takes with every order. Instead of offering pre-made baskets with generic items, Moon works directly with clients to ensure the contents of each basket are tailored to the recipient's tastes and needs.

"I always start by asking my clients three key questions: Who’s the gift for, what’s the occasion, and are there any specific preferences or interests?" Moon said. "With those details in hand, I’m able to create a basket that feels truly personalized. My goal is to make each basket reflect the recipient’s personality and the special moment it’s meant to celebrate."

Moon’s commitment to quality is evident in every basket she creates. After gathering the details, she personally shops for high-quality, unique items to complement the theme. Each basket is filled with 15 to 20 carefully selected items, ensuring that the gift is not only thoughtful but generous and well-rounded.

A commitment to quality

Both businesses share a commitment to quality over quantity.

"We could sell cheaper baskets with low-quality items, but that’s not who we are. We focus on making every gift special and worth remembering,” Moon said.

This dedication to excellence is reflected in their pricing, which varies based on the complexity of the order. For example, gift baskets typically start around $100, and custom-engraved items range from $25 for simpler designs to over $200 for detailed portraits or logos.

"What makes us different from the big-box stores is the level of customization and thoughtfulness we put into every order," Moon said "You can get a generic gift basket or gift at a retail store, but when you work with us, you’re getting something that’s truly one-of-a-kind, something that reflects the recipient’s personality."

Support small businesses

At the heart of Thunderville Laser Shop is a commitment to supporting small businesses and fostering meaningful connections with customers.

"Small businesses are what make communities thrive, especially around the holidays. When you buy from us, you’re supporting two businesses that care deeply about their craft,” Tony Moon said.

As the holiday season picks up, Thunderville Laser Shop and Baskets by Frankie Lynn encourage potential customers to place orders as soon as possible to ensure they arrive by Christmas.
