Registration at Frisco ISD for the 2013-14 school year is now underway for returning students and begins Wednesday, Aug. 7, for new students, according to school district staff.
Parents may register returning students online using Infosnap. This is the fourth year the district has offered online registration. Parents will receive an email from Infosnap with a snapcode to begin the registration process.
Parents need to contact their child's school beginning Aug. 9 if they did not receive an email or have general enrollment questions.
Technical assistance, such as a password issue or registration site problem, is available at 866-986-1601, ext. 7095, or by email at [email protected].
Frisco ISD offers three opportunities for parents who prefer in-person assistance with the Infosnap site or do not have computer access.
- Aug. 7, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Bright Elementary, 7600 Woodstream Dr.
- Aug. 8, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Christie Elementary, 10300 Huntington Road
- Aug. 12, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at Hunt Middle School, 4900 Legendary Way
Parents need to bring the snapcode with them. Spanish language assistance will be provided.
After registering online, the child's immunization information, proof of residency (a July or August utility bill) and the Infosnap online signature page needs to be returned to the child's school office beginning Aug. 7.
For new Frisco ISD students, parents are asked to contact their child's school beginning Aug. 7. Parents can log on to www.friscoisd.org/attendance-zones to find what school their child will be attending.
Parents will need to present:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Social Security Card
- Immunization records
- Proof of residency (utility bill or contract on a new home)
- Last report card/unofficial transcript
- Driver's license of parent or guardian.
A current year enrollment form and home language survey also must be filled out. Forms can be found online at: www.friscoisd.org/ly/ParentsStudents/EnrollmentRegistration.htm
The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 26.
