The self-serve frozen yogurt brand 16 Handles' incoming Frisco location is the first of many for the state, according to a news release.

16 Handles offers 16 rotating soft serve flavors—some of which are sugar-free, nonfat or vegan—and more than 50 toppings and multiple sauces, according to the release. Frozen treats, including cakes, take-home pints and edible cookie dough, are also available.

"I am excited to embark on this journey and introduce 16 Handles to our community in Frisco," location co-owner Aparna Deshpande said in the release.

Deshpande said the new location will allocate a portion of the earnings toward helping the Frisco police and senior citizens as well as supporting local charities.

"It's our commitment to ensuring that our business leaves a lasting positive impact on those around us," Deshpande said.
