Smalls Sliders is set to bring a new location to McKinney this year, a company representative said.

The restaurant, originally slated to open in late 2024, is now expected to be serving sliders by mid-2025. The company celebrated a milestone in the restaurant’s development on Feb. 6 with the “Can Drop,” which is the delivery of the company’s 750-square-foot shipping container that the restaurant will operate out of, a company news release states.

The container, known as a “Can,” is one of over 100 set to be developed in Texas, according to the release.

What’s on the menu?

The quick-service restaurant offers hamburger sliders made with one or two beef patties, cheese, pickles, and Smauce, the restaurant’s signature sauce, according to its website. Customers can also add bacon to their sliders. Other menu items include grilled cheese sandwiches, waffle-cut fries, milkshakes and slider combo meals.


Smalls Sliders locations offer drive-thru service as well as a walk-up window. The McKinney location will feature dual drive-thru lanes as well as a covered seating area, according to planning documents from the city of McKinney.
