Potbelly is now open in west McKinney, staff at the location confirmed.

The sandwich shop with over 465 locations offers a variety of toasted sandwiches as well as wraps, salads, soups, macaroni and cheese, milkshakes and more, according to the company's website.
The McKinney restaurant is owned and operated by franchisees Barry and Remington Burke, a father-and-son duo that also has plans to bring a total of 15 shops to North and East Texas, a company release states.
“Our team is ready to welcome longtime Potbelly fans and first-time guests alike with the craveable food, friendly service and neighborhood-driven atmosphere that define Potbelly,” Remington Burke said in the release.
The restaurant is a tenant in the Eldorado Neighborhood Shops development, a project by Plano-based SLX Capital that is anchored by a Trader Joe’s store at the southwest corner of Stonebridge Drive and Eldorado Parkway.
Get involved
While the restaurant opened in early September, a grand opening celebration is planned for 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Sept. 19. The event will include food, giveaways, games and prizes, including the opportunity to win Potbelly for a year, the release states.
