1. Vidorra serves soft serve margaritas, fajitas in Grapevine
The new Vidorra location has opened its doors in Grapevine.
The Mexican restaurant’s menu includes fajitas, enchiladas, street tacos, flautas and housemade guacamole. Diners can also order molcajete bowls, such as the queso blanco or parrillada en fuego, which is an assortment of meat and vegetables. Vidorra’s drink menu has a variety of cocktails, including a soft serve margarita, which mixes a frozen margarita and soft serve ice cream, and la isla dorada. The restaurant also offers a weekend brunch.
2. Cream Bunny Bakery Cafe now open, offers coffee, cronuts, sandwiches
Cream Bunny Bakery Cafe opened at the end of August for its soft opening, a company representative said.
The family-owned bakery offers several styles of egg- or fried chicken-based breakfast sandwiches on brioche buns or biscuits. Breakfast meats include bacon, sausage and ham, according to its menu.
Cream Bunny also has breakfast tacos on fresh-made tortillas and two styles of fried chicken sandwiches. Sides include tater tots in several different styles, fries, popcorn chicken and biscuits.
3. Chicago’s Deli now offers deli and grocery store in Plano
A new deli and grocery store has opened along North Central Expressway in Plano.
Chicago’s Deli is a new concept in the same location as the former Taste of Poland restaurant. The restaurant has a redesigned deli and grocery store with premium European meats, sausages, cheeses, pierogi and specialty groceries according to a company social media post. The business is also planning to open a bistro, cafe and street food area at a later date. The cafe area is planned to serve Chicago-style hot dogs, sandwiches and coffee.

4. Ray’s Grazing and Provisions brings charcuterie art to Frisco
Ray’s Grazing and Provisions is opening a new location in Frisco.
The business was founded in 2020 as Raynbow Eats by Ray Bray, who built an online following by delivering fresh, local eats, authentic vegan dishes and charcuterie-style boards for any occasion across North Texas.
At the Frisco location, Ray’s Grazing and Provisions will offer pickled vegetables, watermelon and pineapple cakes, charcuterie boards and tables featuring locally sourced fruits, vegetables, nuts and hummus.
5. Za Zoom Drive-Thru Pizza gives breaks ground in Fort Worth, gives opening date timeline
Za Zoom Drive-Thru Pizza is targeting an opening date of the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027.
Za Zoom broke ground in the Alliance area of Fort Worth Aug. 27 on the new construction for the drive-thru pizza concept, according to a post from the restaurant’s social media.
The 650-foot store will offer pizza slices and whole pies from a stand-alone drive-thru window, per previous reporting. Like a New York City pizza slice shop, slices will be ready for customers and heated up for a few minutes before being served.
6. GyroHaus plans fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant in Celina
GyroHaus is looking to open in the Celina East shopping development next spring, owner Toni Mehmedi said.
The Mediterranean restaurant will feature an assembly-line service style where customers make selections to build their own bowls and gyros, Mehmedi said.
Mehmedi also owns Celina Star Cafe on Pecan Street and is planning to open another restaurant called Brunch Factory in the Celina West shopping development early next year.
