The 4,000-square-foot restaurant, located in the District 121 development, will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. Some menu items include:
  • Omelets
  • Eggs benedict
  • Breakfast tacos
  • French toast
  • Burgers
  • Sandwiches
  • Salads
The restaurant’s menu will include items exclusive to the McKinney location, including tres leches French toast, Texas cobb salad, loaded cheesy cheddar grits and more.

Broken Yolk Cafe will offer an “indoor-outdoor” bar, the release stated, serving a variety of beer and cocktails, including a mimosa flight. The location also features a 1,500-square-foot patio that is dog-friendly, according to the release.

The McKinney location is the first in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and second in Texas for the company, which was founded in 1979 and has over 35 locations across the country.

“We are incredibly excited to become a part of the thriving McKinney community,” Alicia Gonzales, general manager of Broken Yolk Cafe in McKinney, said in the release. “Our team is working hard to create a space that offers delicious food and beverage offerings while serving as a gathering place for friends, families, and even their furry companions.”
