Ambulatory EEG provider NeuroSync Diagnostics has opened in Colleyville to provide better remote brain scanning and monitoring services for A&B Neurology.
Neurologist Dr. Babak Rezaei founded both businesses and said not having to outsource for remote scans will help patients receive better care.
“Other companies get their pay no matter what they do, but this way we are actually responsible,” Rezaei said. “So we actually interact with them and there's much better service to the clients and patients.”
Remote EEG testing involves a patient wearing electrodes for 48-96 hours so that brain data can be recorded over a longer period of time in different environments, and this can lead to a better chance of correct diagnosis.
