Hudson House serves signature burgers, martinis in Southlake
Hudson House’s Southlake location is now open in the Park Village shopping center.
The menu includes burgers, sushi and a raw bar. The restaurant’s oysters are flown in daily from the East Coast, according to previous reporting. Diners can also order the chain’s signature “World’s Coldest Martini,” which is prepared with chilled Grey Goose vodka.
Red’s on Main reopens Frisco location after funding challenges
Red’s on Main has reopened its Frisco location just over a month after announcing its closure. The restaurant announced its temporary closure July 30 as it sought additional funding amid a summer of declining business. The business reopened Sept. 9.
Red’s on Main opened its Frisco location in February, serving a variety of smash burgers, wings and paninis. The business opened in the space formerly occupied by Maple Street Biscuit Company.
Luna Loco now open, offers Mexican favorites in Keller
Luna Loco, a new Mexican restaurant, is open in Keller. The restaurant serves Mexican favorites, such as tostadas, enchiladas, street tacos and burritos. There are Taco Tuesday specials on tacos and margaritas, according to its website.
There is also a signature drink menu featuring the Lucha Libre Margarita, an espresso martini and a Fanta creamsicle. Modelo Especial, Dos Equis, Estrella Jalisco, Michelob Ultra and Miller Lite beers are on tap.
PopUp Bagels serves bagels topped with cream cheese in McKinney
PopUp Bagels is now open in McKinney, a media representative confirmed.
The restaurant sells bagels by the bag along with a choice of several schmears, according to its website. Bagel types include plain, everything, poppy seed, salt and sesame. Schmears range from plain cream cheese to brown sugar cinnamon butter.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken now open in Richardson Shell station
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is now open in the Circle K at Richardson’s Main Street Shell gas station.
The 100% halal restaurant serves Cajun-spiced fried chicken made in-store, including tenders, nuggets, chicken sandwiches and wings. Krispy Krunchy Chicken also offers honey butter shrimp, biscuits, mashed potatoes and other sides.
Jimmy John’s opens additional Prosper location
Jimmy John’s is open on Preston Road in Prosper, a company representative confirmed.
The sandwich chain offers build-your-own subs and wraps, according to the company’s website. Jimmy John’s also has Prosper locations on University Drive, Eagle Drive and Prairie Drive, per the website.

Angel Touch Kitchen to offer halal, Indonesian food in east Plano
Angel Touch Kitchen is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in east Plano to offer Indonesian cuisine.
Owner Yenni Haryanti said the restaurant's slow-cooked beef rendang is one of its best sellers, and other menu items include fried rice, stir-fried noodles and chicken skewers. She said the flavor is made to be approachable to diners while providing an opportunity to discover something new.
