3. Another Round Dallas Disc Golf Shop and Taproom


The store will offer an array of disc golf products, including discs and bags. The 1,700-square-foot shop will also feature a bar area serving beer and wine, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and limited food options.4. Cabinet IQ

While the showroom is expected to open in February 2025, Cabinet IQ of McKinney is currently offering services, Owner Nick Berger said. The company specializes in kitchen remodeling as well as selling cabinets and countertops, according to its website.5. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The eatery serves cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant, according to its website.6. Graze Craze


The store will offer charcuterie boards featuring a mix of cheese, meat, vegetables and fruit. Additional offerings will include a smaller board designed to be a small meal for one person and char-cuter-cups, which is a small charcuterie meant to fit inside of a cupholder.7. Shiloh Place

Officials from Shiloh Place and Moss Construction broke ground on a 16,641-square-foot campus that will be able to house up to 16 families, according to the news release. Shiloh Place is a nonprofit organization that supports single mothers in Collin County.Expansion

8. Direction 61:3


The nonprofit that serves youth aging out of the foster care system debuted a new facility expansion at an Oct. 24 event. The new building, called the Connection, is a 400-square-foot building directly behind the headquarters facility that can serve as a private meeting area. 9. Starbucks


A new Starbucks location is expected to be developed in East McKinney, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The Seattle-based coffee company is known for its wide variety of hot and cold espresso drinks, including its frappuccino blended beverages.10. The Giving Machine

The Giving Machine is returning to North Texas this winter and making a stop in McKinney from Dec. 20-Jan. 1. The fundraising initiative is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is part of the organization’s Light the World holiday campaign. The Giving Machine is a modified vending machine that allows users to purchase items that are donated to people in need, a news release states.
