The restaurant, which will be located on Hardin Road, will span over 2,500-square-feet and cost $1.9 million, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Project officials are currently working on the permitting process for the restaurant, a company representative said.
The eatery serves cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant, according to its website.
There are over 500 Freddy’s locations across the U.S., including 80 in Texas, according to the company’s website. There is one existing Freddy’s location in McKinney on Stacy Road.
