One location is set to be built on Collin McKinney Parkway near the city’s southern border, the filing states. Another location is coming to McDonald Street on the site of a former Chicken Express restaurant, which was destroyed in a fire in October 2022. Opening dates for the locations have not been announced.
The Seattle-based coffee company is known for its wide variety of hot and cold espresso drinks, including its frappuccino blended beverages. The menu includes a variety of food items such as sandwiches and bakery items. Customers can also order ahead through the Starbucks app.
There are 13 other Starbucks locations in McKinney, including some located inside grocery stores such as Market Street and Kroger, according to the company’s website. The newest location opened on Eldorado Parkway in July.
