13. Cocktail Creamery


Downtown McKinney frozen treat shop Cocktail Creamery surpassed five years of operations on July 30. The shop offers alcohol-infused frozen treats and ice creams that are made in-house, as well as alcoholic drinks at its bar. When it opened, the store began offering nine ice cream flavors and has since expanded its menu to include 119 flavors, co-owner Sharyn Lindblad said.14. Jake's Gameday

Jake’s Gameday, a sports bar and grill concept, is now Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill in McKinney. A representative with Jake’s Gameday said the restaurant was acquired by Tailgaters in May, but the restaurant's signage and menu changed in August. Tailgaters is a sports bar that serves American food and draft beer.
