Roanoke officials are warning local residents of anticipated traffic challenges as hundreds of Charles Schwab employees begin moving to the company’s new nearby Westlake campus over the next four Mondays.

Charles Schwab, a financial investment company, is situated south of the intersection of SH 170 and SH 114. It is southeast of the city of Roanoke.

About 300 employees will move each Monday, beginning Jan. 13, according to a social media announcement by the city of Roanoke.

Charles Schwab’s campus will act as its company headquarters, sprawling across about 71 acres and including 1 million square feet of office space, according to the city of Westlake. The first phase of the development is open, and the second phase is under construction.

Officials are monitoring traffic flow surrounding Trophy Club Drive/Schwab Way to update affected communities, and commuters are urged to drive carefully.
