An official grand opening celebration will be held April 29, according to the manager.
The restaurant was originally planned to open in October 2022, but a representative for Knockouts said the restaurant experienced a lengthy inspection that contributed to the delay in opening as planned, according to previous reporting.
While the property has a Grapevine address, that particular tract of land is owned by the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, according to the city of Grapevine.
The location was previously Bone Daddy’s, a barbecue restaurant.
On its website, Knockout Sports Bar refers to itself as “anything but a typical bar experience.”
The location will feature more than 20 different beers and have wall-to-wall flat-screen televisions for sports games. The restaurant menu includes burgers; pizzas; and its “game-changing wings,” which are hand trimmed to remove 95% of fat and gristle.
Other entrees include fresh salmon, steak and fajitas.
