Candidate filing period begins Jan. 16; see which positions will be on the ballot in Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake this May


Citizens who wish to be a candidate in the May 4 general election can file for a place on the ballot beginning Jan. 16. Positions on Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake city councils will be on the ballot as well as positions on the Carroll and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD boards of trustees. The deadline for candidates to file for the election is 5 p.m. Feb. 15.

The following posts will be on the May 4 election ballots:

Grapevine City Council
Council member, Place 3 (incumbent Mike Lease)
Council member, Place 4 (incumbent Darlene Freed)

Colleyville City Council
Mayor (incumbent Richard Newton)
Council member, Place 1 (incumbent Tammy Nakamura)
Council member, Place 2 (incumbent Bobby Lindamood)

Southlake City Council
Council member, Place 3 (incumbent Chad Patton)
Council member, Place 4 (incumbent Randy Williamson)
Council member, Place 5 (incumbent John Huffman)

Carroll ISD board of trustees
Board trustee, Place 6 (incumbent Todd Carlton)
Board trustee, Place 7 (incumbent Dave Almand)

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD board of trustees
Board trustee, Place 3 (incumbent Louie Sullins)
Board trustee, Place 4 (incumbent Lisa Pardo)
