Until Feb. 28, Colleyville residents can voice their opinion on what they would like to see in their city by completing the city's citizen survey. The city of Colleyville releases a survey every two years to provide a way for residents' opinions and perspectives to shape the city’s plans and actions. The citizen survey is intended to help city leadership gauge how the city is performing. It also plays a critical role in determining future city programs and initiatives. “Participation in the citizen survey is important to city leadership,” City Manager Jennifer Fadden said. “City staff and City Council use the results to help identify what items residents prioritize and what they want to see in their city.” The city encourages residents to take a few minutes to complete the online survey on the city’s website. Answers will be anonymous, and results will be tabulated by a third party, National Service Research. All surveys must be completed by Feb. 28. Up to two surveys may be submitted per household. This is the first time the survey has been online-only after a growing amount of residents preferred taking the survey online. In past years a survey was mailed to each household in addition to the ability to take the survey online. Residents who need access to a computer or the internet to complete the survey can use public computers at the Colleyville Public Library, 110 Main St., and Senior Center, 2512 Glade Road.
