The Grapevine City Council allowed a one-year extension on a conditional-use permit for Mohler MMA, which was first approved Nov. 20, 2023.

Owner Alan Mohler had until Dec. 19 to have the expansion of the gym completed, which would add 2,056 square feet of training space to the existing 10,620-square-foot building, according to previous reporting.

With the extension, Mohler MMA now has until Dec. 19, 2025, to complete the expansion.

Mohler MMA offers martial arts classes, including jiujitsu, muay Thai kickboxing and boxing, to both adults and children, according to its website.
