Dozens of Frisco city parks will see replenished play surfaces at their playgrounds.

The details

Frisco City Council members unanimously approved an $87,739 contract for new engineered wood fibers to be installed at 40 playground surfaces across the city during a March 19 meeting.

The wood fibers will replenish what is already at the playgrounds to provide a safer play surface, according to meeting documents. Funding for the contract is available through Frisco’s Parks and Recreation fiscal year 2023-24 budget.
