Developers break ground on Mediterranean-themed Florence project in McKinney


The developers behind one of the newest McKinney developments, Florence, are making progress on the project.

City officials and Everest Developers broke ground on Florence during a socially distanced ceremony July 9.



Jeremiah’s Italian Ice to open first Texas location in McKinney

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will open in McKinney on July 27at 7820 Eldorado Parkway, Ste. 100, McKinney. The business is owned and operated by resident Megan Bourke, who plans to open two more locations in Collin County over the next few years.

Flower Mound's first QuikTrip now open


Flower Mound's first QuikTrip opens July 23 at 5301 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound, at the southwest corner of FM 2499 and Waketon Road. The gas station offers pizza, toasted sandwiches and pretzels from its in-store kitchen as well as ice cream, shakes and specialty drinks.

The Grapevine Dentist relocates to larger, adjacent suite

The Grapevine Dentist relocated to a new, larger suite adjacent to its previous location, and its new address is 1600 W. Northwest Highway, Ste. 200, Grapevine. The dental office's services include routine cleanings and exams, tooth extraction and pediatric dentistry as well as surgical and cosmetic services.

Nature’s Mercantile + CBD Store closed its Richardson location at 3613 Shire Blvd., Ste. 150, on July 18 due to a slowdown in business caused by the pandemic. The business offered a variety of CBD, or cannabidiol, and health products.
