The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Frisco transportation symposium on April 17.

The first chamber luncheon of the year will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at Westin Stonebriar, 1549 Legacy Drive.

Topics of discussion include:

Areas surrounding the North Texas Tollway Authority, its growth and it is bringing business growth to Frisco

The Wright Amendment, its expiration date and how it affects North Texas region businesses

Areas surrounding current transportation in the North Texas Region

The keynote speaker is Paul Cullen, managing director of financial planning and analysis with Southwest Airlines. A panel discussion will include Pete Havel, director of legislative affairs for the North Texas Tollway Authority and Rep. Larry Phillips, chairman of the House Transportation Committee.

Individual tickets are $35 for chamber members and $45 for nonmembers.
